Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious Physiotherapy

Most people recognise Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious as the most famous word from the story of Mary Poppins, and know just how difficult it is to say.  

But imagine having to sing it repeatedly, whilst dancing intricate steps, night after night. It would be enough to test the fittest of athletes.

So just as Athletes need expert care from Sports Medicine Doctors and Physiotherapists to keep them at their peak performance, so do the actors in Musical Theatre.

This well known film about a magical Nanny, starring Julie Andrews has been brought to the stage as a Musical, touring Australia, and performed in PERTH from March 30th - June 3rd

Whilst in Perth the Cast and Crew were cared for by Physiotherapist; Sue Lin Kalisch, with help from her Physio colleagues: Kathryn Watson, Needra Ranjithkumar and MusculoSkeletal Physiotherapist Simone Barker (who has previously worked with Cirque du Soleil).

Treating a variety of problems including hip, knee and ankle injuries, shoulder and neck pain, as well as back problems, the team was kept busy keeping the performers "on song".
