Physiotherapist


Ben completed a Sports science degree in 2006 and went on to complete his Physiotherapy degree in 2010. Ben started working on the wards at St John of God hospital Murdoch mainly in the area of orthopaedics. After a short time Ben started to work in the outpatient clinic as well as on the wards.

Ben is now based down in the outpatient clinic full time where he has a keen interest in orthopaedic rehabilitation, particularly of the knee, hip and ankle. Ben works closely with several Orthopaedic surgeons. Ben also enjoys working with sporting and general injuries.

In the past Ben has worked with several sporting teams including Christ Church Grammar School’s AFL teams and the Palmyra Rugby Union club. He has also working with Sports Medicine Australia providing both first aid/ sports cover to games and events, as well as presenting for community education courses.

Outside work Ben is an avid cyclist where he rides with charity groups Tour de Cure Australia and MelanomaWA, raising money for cancer research and support. He loves spending time with his wife and 3 young daughters, he has recently taken up coaching his daughter’s basketball team.
