Bio

Michael has a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy, Diploma of Health Science in Massage and a Bachelor of Science: Civil Engineering

Michael has worked at Lifecare Phoenix since 2003.

He is a Practice Principal and has helped develop the practice into the successful centre it is today.

Michael has worked closely with the local community and medical practitioners for many years and takes pride in helping improve the quality of life of people in the area.

He has an interest in exercise rehabilitation, including gym-based and hydrotherapy programs, and has many years’ experience in treating neck and back pain along with helping people recover from motor vehicle and work-related injuries.

Michael has extensive experience in Physiotherapy Instrument Mobilisation, assessment of lower limb biomechanics, the prescription and custom fitting of heat mouldable orthotics  and treatment of foot and lower limb disorders.

Personal interests

Outside of work Michael is a member of the Orange Grove Shooting Association and Jarrahdale Sporting Shooters.

He spends most weekends competing at club, state and national levels in the Revolver Divisions.

He has also competed in the International Revolver Championships in the United States in 2017 and plans to compete there again in 2021.

In addition to competing, he provides physiotherapy services to club members and acute injury management during competitions.

He also has interests in photography and four-wheel driving.
