Ben Curtis - Physiotherapist

Ben graduated from Charles Sturt University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy and was awarded First Class Honours for his dissertation exploring neural mobility and hamstring flexibility.  He has been working with the team at The Sports Medicine Centre since graduating and has recently returned to university to study a Graduate Certificate in Sports Physiotherapy.

Ben currently works as the team physiotherapist for the Canberra Darters netball team and the Canberra Olympic Women’s Premier League squads. He has also previously worked with the Search2Retain cycling team at National Road Series races.

Ben enjoys treating all musculoskeletal injuries but has a particular interest in knee and tendon injuries, and post-operative rehabilitation.  He has a hands-on approach to treatment and enjoys assisting patients to return to sport and work, providing tailored exercise programs to optimise rehabilitation and minimise the risk of re-injury.
