Bio: 

Luke is a senior APA titled Sports & Exercise Physiotherapist and Practice Principal at Lifecare Croydon Sports Medicine. He completed his post-graduate Masters of Sports Medicine at the University of Melbourne, which not only comprised of advanced biomechanics training, but focused on sports psychology and dietetics, which enhanced his appreciation of holistic patient care. He has over 13 years experience as a physiotherapist both in Australia and abroad. He began his career in the public health hospital system at Austin Health, gaining experience in musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiothoracic and spinal injury populations. His invaluable experience working in Europe’s largest gym in Canary Wharf, London, expanded his strength and conditioning repertoire with amateur and elite athletes across all sports, dancing and athletics. Luke has worked in Australian Rules Football (VAFA), Volleyball, Basketball and most recently completed a thesis titled ‘Injury Management and Prevention in Adolescent Tennis Players.’  As well as treating the sporting athlete, his clinical interests involve the management of post-operative patients, where he prides himself on their return to optimal level of function and recovery.
