Physiotherapist and Pilates Instructor
Asha has recently moved back from Sydney where she spent almost four years exploring the beaches and hikes of New South Wales while completing her Doctor of Physiotherapy Degree at Macquarie University. Asha is in her graduate year but already has orthopaedic hospital and age care experience, alongside starting up work in the private practice space. During her university years, Asha spent a lot of time in dance classes running dance shows with friends or in the gym as a gym instructor or taking bootcamps for the middle-senior age groups.
Asha tries to keep fit herself by continuing her own training for netball and also running. At the moment she is training for her second half-marathon at Run-Melbourne. In her spare time now, Asha takes part in volunteer work, on the organising committee for primary and teen-aged summer camps across Australia and New Zealand. This has allowed her to travel internationally – most recently to New Zealand and Kenya for international youth camps.
