Doctor of Physiotherapy degree
Robert completed his Doctor of Physiotherapy degree from the University of Melbourne. Prior to this, he attained a Bachelor of Science with a special focus on muscle and exercise physiology.
Robert has worked extensively in both elite and junior football clubs including; Old Scotch Football club in the VAFA and The Glen Iris Gladiators. He has also been involved in Under 18’s state athletics and swimming trials as well as various state triathlon events. In these roles, Robert has been responsible for athlete injury assessment and management, developing rehabilitation goals to achieve the best short and long term outcomes for patients. He has also been involved in treating skiing and snowboarding injuries having worked in the ski slopes of Japan, which has fostered a keen interest in all things snow sports.
Alongside his work with the sporting population, Robert has a strong passion for helping patients, from all walks of life, achieve their health goals through an individualised and holistic care approach. He has special interests in knee, shoulder and hip injuries and is focused on delivering the highest quality of evidence-based physiotherapy and clinical knowledge in patient care.
Outside of work, Robert enjoys all competitive sports and is an avid soccer player and fan. He also has a particular interest in weight lifting as a way of staying active.
