Liam is also currently involved with the Seaford Junior Football club, managing game day injuries in the winter weekends.
More recently, Liam has turned his focus to supporting patients in the NDIS field, as well as the broader arena of physical and mental disadvantaged patients in the local community. Liam is passionate about assisting patients with disabilities to get moving, as well as regularly interacting with a strong support network.
Liam’s area of expertise is in rehabilitation under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), spending most of his time consulting at PARC Frankston in the gym and hydrotherapy setting. Liam is passionate in helping people with disability engage with the community and working towards his patients functional goals in a fun and supportive environment.
Furthermore, Liam currently undertakes numerous supervised hydrotherapy classes at PARC a week, assisting patients who benefit in the pool, particularly those dealing with osteoarthritis, post-surgical rehabilitation and chronic pain.
Liam has also undertaken additional training in the chronic pain setting, with a particular passion for assisting patients with complex pain needs. Liam additionally works at Precision Ascend in Frankston, one of only a handful of chronic pain programs in Victoria.
Regarding acute and subacute musculoskeletal sporting injuries, Liam utilises an array of hands-on techniques such as soft/deep tissue massage, superficial dry needling and cupping. Liam will also endeavour to formulate a personalised and tailored exercise program for maintaining long term results, with a strong focus on injury prevention, rather than reactive treatments.
