Bachelor of Science (Physiotherapy)
Member of Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA)
After graduating from Curtin University in 2020, Abbey joined the Homecare Physiotherapy team in early 2021. Throughout the course of her studies, Abbey gained valuable experience across a wide range of clinical areas; including Continence & Women’s Health, Cardiorespiratory, Musculoskeletal and Neurology. She also spent some time in rural Western Australia, providing care for Indigenous and aged care patients who had limited access to healthcare services.
Abbey has developed a particular interest in neurological rehabilitation, and would like to undertake further study in this area. She also has a keen interest in continence/gender health issues and their association with chronic disease and ageing. Abbey follows a holistic and client-centred approach to her Physiotherapy treatment and management, always striving to achieve the best outcomes for her patients.
In her spare time, Abbey likes to exercise, spend time with her two very boisterous dogs and catch up with friends and family.
