Bio

Following on from her Biomedical Science degree, Caitlin completed the Master of Physiotherapy (GEM) program at Curtin University. Caitlin has since worked for several years in the community with HomeCare Physiotherapy and is a Senior Physiotherapist and Mentor for new graduate physiotherapists. Caitlin also has experience working in the inpatient setting at St John of God, Murdoch. Caitlin has experience in acute and long term management of various conditions including orthopaedics, surgical patients, respiratory and cardiac patients and geriatric rehabilitation.

Caitlin’s special interests include gerontology, neurology and vestibular physiotherapy. She strives to ensure that her patients achieve the highest level of functional independence that they can within their home and community. Caitlin has a passion for ongoing education and development, and has been involved in coordinating the professional development for the practitioners at HomeCare. She is also a current committee member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association WA branch of the Gerontology group. Caitlin has completed her Level 1 and 2 in Gerontological Physiotherapy, Level 1 in Neurological Physiotherapy, Level 1 and 2 PD Warrior Course and has attended a vestibular workshop.

Personal Interests

In her spare time Caitlin enjoys cooking and playing indoor beach volleyball! Caitlin represented the Mandurah Stingrays Club at the national titles in 2018 and is currently involved in state Super League for Port Kennedy!
