Tharindu is a Physiotherapist who graduated from the University of Otago, New Zealand. He has since had private practice and a variety of sporting roles including Basketball Victoria, Touch Football Victoria and previous lead physio for NBL1 (basketball).
Given his professional and sporting experience Tharindu can assist through the whole spectrum of rehabilitation, management and prevention. He has a special interest in everything lower limb – muscle, tendon and post-operative care (ACL & Achilles ruptures). Tharindu’s passion is giving all clients elite rehabilitation and care to allow them to carry out their individual goals.
Alongside the sporting roles, Tharindu has been involved in multiple research projects through La Trobe Sport and Exercise Medicine Research Centre and currently with Monash University looking into achilles tendinopathy. He has recently completed a Graduate Certificate in High Performance Sport through Australian Catholic University (ACU).
