Pelvic Health Physiotherapist
Ashlee joins our Continence and Pelvic Health team with a wealth of knowledge. After graduating with a Bachelor in Physiotherapy from Curtin University in 2017 and as a two-time recipient of Vice-Chancellors List award, Ashlee started her physiotherapy career primarily working as a musculoskeletal and Clinical Exercise physiotherapist in the private sector. However – early on in her career, Ashlee developed a keen interest, and fulfillment from treating in the field of Continence and Pelvic Health physiotherapy.
Since graduation, Ashlee has completed her Level 1 and 2 Introductory Training in Women’s Health Physiotherapy, Advanced Level 3 Training in the Management of Stress Urinary Incontinence and Pelvic Organ Prolapse and Advanced Level 3 Training in Pelvic Floor, Exercise, Sport and Musculoskeletal Dysfunction. Ashlee continues to further expand her skills and is now completing additional post-graduate training in this area, completing her Masters in Clinical Physiotherapy with Curtin University (specialising in Continence and Pelvic Health).
Ashlee provides both inpatient maternity and outpatient physiotherapy services. You will find Ashlee in the Continence and Pelvic Health clinic rooms providing private physiotherapy consultations for women during their pregnancy and post-natally, treating pregnancy-related musculoskeletal conditions (pelvic girdle pain, back/neck pain, wrist conditions), abdominal muscle separation rehabilitation and treatment of inflammatory breast conditions and cracked nipples related to breast-feeding. Ashlee is also well equipped with the expertise and competence in assisting women in the management of bladder and bowel incontinence disorders, female pelvic organ prolapse and fitting of vaginal support pessaries, sexual pain, pelvic floor dysfunction, post-urogynaecological surgery management and persistent pelvic pain in female adults across all stages of life. Ashlee also works on the St Mary’s obstetric ward at St John of God Murdoch Hospital providing inpatient maternity services. Additionally, Ashlee also runs a variety of our exercise classes; including ante/postnatal hydrotherapy classes and Clinical Exercise classes.
Ashlee is an enthusiastic physiotherapist who strives to provide a holistic and evidence-based treatment approach with every client; ensuring the woman is well-informed, empowered, educated and at the centre of their own care. Our Continence and Pelvic Health physiotherapists in Murdoch are well placed to coordinate with other health professionals at St John of God Murdoch Hospital, Wexford and surrounding suburbs to ensure a well-rounded, multi-disciplinary approach to care is achieved.

When not at work, Ashlee enjoys travelling with her partner, clinical reformer Pilates, spending time at the beach with friends and family, any excuse for a red wine and spoiling her golden retriever puppy, Billie.
