Matilda Edwards
Occupational Therapist Practitioner of Hand Therapy Matilda graduated from Australian Catholic University with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy in 2021. Throughout her time spent at university Matilda completed two clinical placements within large trauma public hospitals in Melbourne. During her placements she was exposed to the fast-paced
Hand Therapy departments and was able to see a variety of traumatic injuries. This enabled Matilda to continue developing her passion for Hand Therapy.
Matilda has been previously working as a Hand Therapist in Melbourne and South Eastern suburbs and is very excited to continue her journey with Peninsula Hand Therapy. Matilda is currently working towards accreditation with the Australian Hand Therapy Association, and enjoys continuing to expand her current knowledge with completing professional development courses.
In her clinical practice, Matilda enjoys working with the patient to achieve their therapy goals and helping the patient reengage in their meaningful everyday occupations.
Outside of work you will find Matilda enjoying time with her Family and Friends on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula, entertaining her puppy and tending to her large indoor plant collection.
