Bio

Richard started working across different centres for Lifecare after graduating from the University of Notre Dame in 2014 and is now the Practice Principal at Lifecare Willetton.

He has a particular interest in assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal and sporting injuries.

Richard aims to not only treat the initial injury but strives for self-maintenance and preventative strategies.

He has a keen interest in vestibular, neck, shoulder, and low back pain as well as chronic/persistent pain disorders.

He is also a keen soccer player having played across his schooling and university years, and was formerly the club physiotherapist for Palmyra Rugby Union Premier League team.

Richard has completed his Masters in Clinical Physiotherapy (Musculoskeletal) in 2018 with a high distinction to further enhance his assessment and treatment.

He was involved in a research project which was published in 2018.

As of 2019, he has tutored post-graduate physiotherapy students through Curtin University.

Richard has recently worked as an Advanced Scope Physiotherapist through Rockingham Hospital ED and utilises these skills for acute injury management in the clinic.
