Bio
David Cheung is an Australian Physiotherapy Association Titled Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist with over a decade of clinical experience and expertise in the diagnosis, prognosis, and management of shoulder conditions — including adhesive capsulitis (frozen shoulder), instability, tendinopathies, and complex post-operative care.
He draws on extensive musculoskeletal experience, combining manual therapy, pain-relief strategies, movement restoration, and progressive rehabilitation to support individuals in reducing discomfort, regaining function, and returning to meaningful activity.
David’s approach is structured around short- and medium-term goals to build momentum, restore confidence, and achieve long-term outcomes. He works closely with a wide range of healthcare professionals — including general practitioners, sport and exercise physicians, and shoulder surgeons — to ensure coordinated, patient-centred care tailored to each person’s goals, whether that be returning to sport, work, or everyday movement.
David is affiliated with the Australian College of Physiotherapists, Australian Physiotherapy Association, Sports Medicine Australia, and the Golden Key International Honour Society.
Outside of the clinic, David enjoys CrossFit and spending time with family and friends.
David is available in clinic every weekday, Monday to Friday.
