Chenbo Sun

Chenbo is a physiotherapist with a strong interest in lower limb injuries and sports rehabilitation. A graduate of Curtin University, he has a strong interest and experience in both hospital and sporting environments.

Hands-on experience with WA State League soccer clubs—East Perth SC and Wanneroo City SC, has strengthened his practical approach and deepened his passion for working with active individuals.

Chenbo enjoys helping patients regain mobility and independence after orthopaedic surgery. His work on the wards of SJOG Hospital Murdoch and in Southcare’s outpatient clinic – allows him to support patients throughout their orthopaedic journey – from Pre-operative strengthening to acute post-surgical care, through to hydrotherapy and the achievement of post operative recovery. This work builds on his experience of working as an allied health assistant at St John of God Mt Lawley hospital in the orthopaedic service, where he delivered rehabilitation programs for inpatients and outpatients.

Clinically, Chenbo focuses on musculoskeletal injuries, combining hands-on treatment with movement-based rehabilitation. He prides himself on creating a supportive, down-to-earth environment where clients feel heard and empowered throughout their recovery.

Outside of work, Chenbo enjoys hiking in the Perth hills, crafting good food and coffee, training at his local gym, and running along the river.
