Ben Waldock

Ben is the Practice Principal at St George Physiotherapy and Pilates. He has over 20 years experience treating sports and musculoskeletal having graduated from the University of Otago (NZ) in 2001. He has also completed a Masters Level Post Graduate Diploma in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy at Auckland University of Technology.

Throughout his career he has worked and managed sports injury clinics in New Zealand, the United Kingdom and Australia. He’s also been a physiotherapist for International Rugby Union and Basketball teams and most recently is the team physio for the St George Dragons Junior Representative Squads.

As a keen runner Ben has also developed a special interest in the conservative and post operative rehabilitation of knee injuries. He has worked closely with orthopaedic surgeons at Sydney Knee Specialists in Kogarah, providing an independent assessment of their post op ACL patients and developing an evidence based testing protocol aimed at reducing risk of reinjury and gaining best possible recovery.

These days Ben loves to run and bush walk. He has two sons that keep him busy with their own sports and interests and Ben likes to stay involved by being an age manager for their nippers and helping coach their soccer and rugby league teams.
