Exercise Physiologist


Robert attended the University of Sydney where he attained a Master of Exercise Physiology and a Bachelor of Health Sciences, majoring in Movement Science. He is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist and Exercise Scientist with Exercise Sport Science Australia (ESSA). With an extensive background in sport – having played soccer, tennis and cricket competitively for many years – his keen interest in exercise led to his progression within the health industry and contributed to his advanced knowledge of injury treatment and prevention.

With experience as a workplace rehabilitation consultant, Robert is skilled in assessing risks and barriers when developing a recovery plan for his clients and has an established knowledge of typical injury recovery timeframes, allowing him to prescribe appropriate and evidence-based exercise across all stages of the recovery process. He takes on a biopsychosocial approach to each clients recovery, ensuring the return and recover at work process is carried out in a safe and durable manner.

Robert has a strong interest in leveraging strength, mobility, stability and cardiovascular exercise to treat a range of musculoskeletal, metabolic, cardiopulmonary, neurological and mental health conditions. He is constantly adapting and evolving his practice style to provide the most current and evidence-based treatments, customising his holistic approach to health and wellbeing based off the needs and goals of his clients. Robert also strongly believes in providing the necessary tools for his clients to manage their own pathology long term.
