Andy graduated from his physiotherapy degree at Trinity College in Dublin in 2009. He made the move to Australia in 2017 and has since commenced further study. He is due to complete his Masters in Clinical Physiotherapy (musculoskeletal stream) in November 2021. During this course he has participated in research examining the role of both patient and clinician beliefs in knee osteoarthritis.
Over the course of his studies Andy has modified his approach to ensure that every person’s specific goals and expectations are outlined during their initial appointment. He takes time with every patient to understand all of the contributing factors to a persons problem. He enjoys taking an active approach in managing pain and injuries.
Andy currently works as head physio with a rugby team and has previous experience in occupational physiotherapy in WA mine sites, providing him with exposure to a wide range of injuries and conditions.
