Bio
Jasmin graduated from Curtin University in 2024 after a long 7 years with the university! After that 7 years she has come out with a degree in Physiotherapy and Exercise, Sports, and Rehabilitation Science.
Over her years of study she also worked with Canning Vale Senior Football Club as their head trainer and now assists their medical team as a physiotherapist.
She has gained a lot of exposure in treating and managing sports injuries.
With a passion for high quality and thorough rehabilitation to ensure people recover at their best.
She is also no stranger to sports injuries herself!
Since her knee injury back when she was 16, she aspired to become a physiotherapist and help others that are going through what she went through.
Jasmin brings a holistic and culturally supportive approach to her practice.
She is a Mindful Movement coach and often uses mindfulness, breathing, and stretching in her work as a physiotherapist.
As she believes problems aren’t all about what’s happening in the body but also what’s happening in the mind and spirit.
Also being Aboriginal, she has a passion for Indigenous health and continues to improve the quality of care for Indigenous people, and all minority groups.
As she knows everyone is deserving of a respectful and understanding healthcare environment, no matter who they are.
She has a keen interest in pelvic health (especially in sport and women’s health) and hopes to eventually complete her post-graduate qualification in this field.
She is also currently researching ways to improve pelvic healthcare for Indigenous women at Curtin University and thoroughly enjoys working within the pelvic health field.
Personal interests
Outside of all things physio you’ll find Jasmin keeping active by dancing, gym-ing, and running her days away.
She loves her dog Rosie, and makes sure Rosie gets her daily walks.
She also loves a sunny outdoor adventure with family and friends.
But for those colder days, she loves to rug up with a hot cup of tea and watch movies (she is quite the movie buff!).
You’ll also find her supporting her AFL teams every week, she loves her footy!
Jasmin has an Instagram account where you can hear the latest on her physio adventures and get to know her story.
