Jordan completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of Newcastle where he graduated with the Lewis Ewart Lewis Award for academic merit. He joins the team at Leichhardt Sports Physiotherapy bringing a wealth of experience after working in many different sporting fields and teams such as NBN state league soccer, NSW state touch football, police rugby league games, City to Surf, and the Port Macquarie Iron Man Triathlon. Prior to completing his university studies Jordan gained valuable experience in hands on therapy and exercise rehabilitation by working as a Remedial Massage therapist for 6 years after completing a Diploma of Remedial Massage and Certificate IV in Fitness through TAFE NSW.
Jordan has gone on to further expand his knowledge base by completing post graduate studies in the following areas;
Temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders (advanced)
Thermoplastic splinting for hand conditions
Sports trainer certificate
Senior first aid
Jordan currently trains in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and enjoys outdoor activities such as kayaking and fishing. He has a special interest in treating conditions of the upper limb, cervical spine and TMJ disorders, and the knee but is happy to address all your Physiotherapy needs.
