After graduating from The University Of Sydney, Kate and immediately made the transition to HNA’s Neutral Bay Physio under the company’s mentored program treating a wide variety of conditions.
In 2013 she moved on to gain exposure to as many Senior Physiotherapists as possible, transitioning to two private clinics in Naremburn and Ryde, where she worked with high level athletes and focused on functional movement screening and implementation. Throughout her time here, she worked and toured internationally with numerous sporting teams including rugby union, soccer and motocross. She worked extensively with an array of sports physicians and orthopaedic surgeons of varying disciplines.
After this stint in Sydney’s Lower North Shore, she made another transition to a Sport’s Physiotherapy Clinic in the CBD, working with a group of highly qualified and distinguished physiotherapists. She spent her time here exclusively treating the spinal, foot and knee conditions.
By the start of 2015, Kate had undergone her credentials in Women’s Health, predominantly treating:
- Stress urinary incontinence
- Urge incontinence
- Pelvic Floor Weakness
- Pelvic Organ Prolapse
- Pelvic pain disorders
- Pregnancy Associated Low Back, Rib and Thoracic Spine pain
- Carpal Tunnel Synrdome
- De Quervain’s Tenosynovitis
She has now returned with a wealth of knowledge to Neutral Bay Physio. Her special interests lie in simplifying seemingly complicated women’s health, spinal and sporting injuries. Kate is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association and Women’s Health Training Associates.
