Sport and exercise has always been a big part of Callie’s life, gaining a Tennis Scholarship in the United States as a teenager. She later studied Physiotherapy in the UK, qualifying in 2010, and went on to work in a Neurological and Orthopaedic Singaporean Hospital, enjoying the challenge of treating non English speaking patients. In 2011 Callie moved to Australia working as a Physiotherapist throughout NSW in Private practice, where she also developed a passion for Pilates, gaining great results herself, discovering it complimented her distance running well, by giving her the support and flexibility she needed.
Callie decided to become trained in instructing Pilates and found it became an integral part of her Physiotherapy treatment, and also became an instructor in various fitness studios around Sydney. Callie Joined Sutherland Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic in 2015 working part time in both the Physiotherapy Clinic and Pilates Studio and is enjoying the opportunity to follow patients through from their initial assessment to their progressive rehabilitation programmes.
