William Tardif – Physiotherapist

Will graduated from the honours programme at Monash University and has been working at Lifecare since 2013. His primary interest is in the treatment of sporting injuries, using his extensive personal experience to guide his practice. In particular, he has been involved in the rehabilitation of football, cricket, basketball and golf-related injuries. He has a special interest in the management of knee injuries, particularly anterior cruciate ligament rehabilitation and patellofemoral (anterior knee) pain. He works under the mentorship of Jane Rooney (Specialist Sports Physiotherapist (sub-specialty knee)), in an elite knee rehabilitation group.

 Will continues to play football for Collegians FC in the Victorian Amateur Football Association (VAFA) Premier Division and has played representative football for the league and Victorian Metro teams. Professionally, he has worked as a physiotherapist for both amateur and elite sporting clubs.He is a representative on the Sports Physiotherapy Australia Victorian Branch Committee and has tutored at the Sports Level 1 Course on the knee and taping components.He is undertaking a graduate certificate at Latrobe University, with a view to attaining a Masters in Sports Physiotherapy.
