Bio

Justin Moar is a senior physiotherapist and clinic director at Lifecare Frankston and joined the clinic in the year 2000. Since then, Justin has developed a special interest in helping people with back, neck and shoulder pain. For the majority of this time, he has worked closely with spinal surgeons, pain physicians and psychologists, contributing to his broad understanding of management of these conditions.

Justin strives to provide thoughtful and honest advice based on carefully listening and thorough assessment of your individual problems.

Professional Interests

Justin’s areas of professional interest include back pain and sciatica, neck and shoulder pain, posture and core stability. He is also experienced in post-op rehabilitation following discectomy and spinal fusion surgery.

Justin utilises a number of treatment modalities including soft tissue therapy, spinal mobilisation, and dry needling. He also utilises exercises ranging from home or workplace stretching programs, posture and core control exercises, to clinic or gym-based functional conditioning programs.

Justin has also developed a specialist interest in the use of wearable devices and technology in the treatment of back pain. He is able to provide ViMove assessments and live biofeedback training.

Personal Interests

When not working, Justin loves spending time with “the girls”, who are his wife Sharon and their two daughters, especially when on holiday in Bali, Noosa or along the Great Ocean Road.

To keep fit, Justin tries to find time to run, ride or, when the sun is out and Port Philip Bay is calm, stand up paddle. He appreciates a good cup of coffee and likes compassionate people with a good sense of humour.
