Bio

Mark is a senior physiotherapist and director at Lifecare Frankston and started work at the clinic as a new graduate in 1998. He has enjoyed supporting the general public and sporting population of Frankston and the Mornington Peninsula with their injury management and prevention for the past 21 years.

Mark has been involved as a player and physiotherapist in the Mornington Peninsula Football League for over 20 years and has been involved with Seaford FC, Langwarrin FC, Pines FC, Frankston Bombers FC, Frankston YCW Junior FC, and Mt Eliza FC during this time. Mark has also enjoyed involvement with the Frankston Tigersharks Super Rules FC as both a club physiotherapist and player.

Professional Interests

Mark has a passion for assisting all athletes to perform at their best, with a special interest in football, cross fit, basketball and netball injuries.

His clinical focus is on knee, ankle and shoulder injuries including preventative strategies, acute injury management and post-surgical rehabilitation. Mark works closely with a number of leading surgeons in these areas to help people of all ages have a better quality of life.

Personal Interests

Family is Mark’s biggest interest, enjoying life with wife Leanne and his 3 daughters who live locally in Mornington.

Mark enjoys regular training and exercise and his sporting interests include AFL football, tennis, water skiing, hiking and gym based training programs. The Oxfam 100km Trail Walker has been a challenging and consistent part of Mark’s sporting calendar over the past 10 years.

The family’s sporting past time is water skiing with time spent enjoying the Murray River and Echuca as well as Lake Eildon throughout the summer months.
