Amber Whiteford - Physiotherapist


Amber joined the SouthCare team in 2013 after completing her Physiotherapy degree at Notre Dame University in Fremantle. She has worked in a variety of areas including inpatients on the wards of St John of God Murdoch and home visiting physiotherapy with HomeCare. Amber is currently working in the outpatient clinic.

Amber completed the LifeCare Pilates training program and teaches Clinical Pilates three times a week in our movement studio. She has completed her Acupuncture and Dry Needling course and enjoys using this adjunct to her treatments.

Amber finds rehabilitating patients a rewarding experience. She has a special interest in preventative health, particularly in the female population. Her strong passion for health & fitness is reflected in her work and everyday life.

Amber has a background in fitness instructing. She enjoys working with her clients in TherEx (Therapeutic Exercise) group and hydrotherapy sessions at SouthCare.

Amber is a current member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association.
