Lorna graduated as an Occupational Therapist in 2001 in Glasgow, Scotland.
Since then she has worked with clients from a wide range of diagnoses including amputations, neurology rehabilitation, orthopaedics, mental health, equipment prescription, home modifications and assistive technology. Lorna has a keen interest in adaptations to the home environment that increase an individual’s independence and enable them to remain in their homes.
Lorna has been in WA since 2011 and before joining the Maximum Independence Occupational Therapy team managed and facilitated the implementation of care packages to clients in their own homes. She currently works in the community completing home visits with the aim of increasing client’s independence and community participation.
