Shannon completed her Bachelor of Science (Podiatry) degree in 2004. After completing her degree Shannon moved to the South West of Western Australia and gained experience working in all aspects of podiatry including a mix of private practice, community hospitals, senior citizen centres and aged care facilities. Some of the areas where skills were acquired include general nail and callus treatment, diabetes assessments, ulcer management, paediatrics and biomechanics.
Since returning to Perth, Shannon has a special interest in routine care and diabetes and loves working in aged care to help people maintain healthy comfortable feet and within a multidisciplinary team to improve mobility and independence. Shannon started working with LifeCare in 2017.
Outside of podiatry she is a mum to 3 children and loves yoga, netball, reading, cooking and spending time with her family. She loves meeting new people and looks forward to meeting you soon.
