Rika Huynh

Bachelor of Science (Physiotherapy)

Member of Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA)

Born and raised in Vietnam, Rika moved to Perth to further her studies. She completed her Bachelor degree in Physiotherapy at Curtin University and joined the Homecare Physiotherapy team in 2019. Prior to completing her degree, Rika had three years of experience working as a therapy assistant at a Residential Aged Care Facility.

Rika is committed to supporting her patients to achieve their goals with a focus on what matters most to them. She enjoys helping people to stay functionally independent at home for as long as possible. Additionally, Rika takes pride in being pro-active in contributing to her company as a team player, but also in working independently and responsibly, going above and beyond what is required to achieve a good outcome for the patient.

Rika developed a special interest in stroke rehabilitation and falls prevention while completing a neurology placement and plans to complete further study in this field. She is a firm believer that to be able to provide the best possible care for her clients, she must first be the best version of herself. Therefore, Rika has, and is, continually attending workshops and courses to further improve her skills.
