Amanda has had extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of sports injuries in Rugby, Rowing, Tennis, Netball and Soccer, including 4 years in London as full-time Head Physiotherapist for the “Harlequins”.
She is very experienced in the management of all sports and musculoskeletal injuries, musculoskeletal screening and complex rehabilitation in athletes. Amanda is skilled at workstation assessment, postural screening and ergonomic consulting in the office or home environment.
Amanda has a special interest in the diagnosis, management and rehabilitation of groin and hip pain working closely with Dr John Garvey. She has presented at conferences and lectured in this area and been a co-author on a published paper on Sports Hernia.
Amanda enjoys running, equestrian sports, skiing, swimming and is a lifesaver during the summer season.
