Dana graduated from the University of Ottawa with a Masters of Physiotherapy in 2022. She completed her Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario.
Dana’s academic background has given her a solid foundation for exercise prescription, and this is reflected in her practice. She uses a combination of patient education, manual therapy techniques, dry needling and exercise prescription to help patients achieve their goals. Dana encourages patients to learn how to self-manage their conditions with the tools they gain through their rehab journey.
Dana has experience working with a variety of orthopaedic and neurological conditions. Her areas of interest include treating neck and low back pain, shoulders and lower limb injuries. Dana also has an interest in working with athletic populations and recently spent three seasons working with various rugby union clubs in Canberra and Sydney.
In her free time, Dana enjoys going to the gym, running, hiking and downhill skiing. She is also learning to play rugby union with the women’s rugby team at Southern Districts.
