Mina Lawendy

Physiotherapist


Mina graduated with a Bachelor of Applied science (Physiotherapy) in 2018 from the University of Sydney.

Mina has an interest in the rehabilitation of sporting injuries and has substantial experience working with sporting teams. Mina commenced as a sports trainer for St George City FA in the NPL 2 Premier league Men’s competition between 2017-2018, before becoming their head physiotherapist in 2019.

Mina also worked as a physiotherapist for the South Sydney Rabbitohs SG ball/Jersey Flegg and Canterbury Cup teams in 2019. Since 2020, Mina has been working as a physiotherapist for the NRL Wests Tigers and Canterbury Cup Western Magpies squads.

Furthermore, Mina has a passion for teaching and education, currently working as an anatomy tutor at the University of Sydney since 2019.

Mina has consolidated his professional development beyond University studies, completing his Sports Physiotherapy level 1 to further facilitate his interest in the management of sporting injuries.

Mina has also undertaken Pilates training by completing the APPI level 1 and APPI level 2 courses to further add to his scope of practice. Mina specifically has an interest in the management of acute knee injuries and has been trained to undertake a return to sport ACL screening assessment tool to further help his patients return to their sport safely.
