
Danielle is a Sports Physiotherapist with over 30 years’ experience. Graduating from Curtin University for her undergraduate and Post Graduate Master, Danielle was also a Lecturer in the Curtin University School of Physiotherapy for 15 years, and adjunct Research Fellow for another 5 years.
Danielle represented Australia in Water Polo playing 154 games, and won an Olympic Gold Medal at the 200 Sydney Olympic Games. She was subsequently awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia in 2001.
After the Olympics, Danielle has combined her expertise in Water Polo with her Sports Physiotherapy expertise to have a significant involvement as the Sports Physiotherapist for the Water Polo Australia, and the Western Australian Institute of Sport Water Polo Programs.
She now utilises this vast experience, and high level qualifications, to work with difficult Musculoskeletal Injuries, and in particular – Shoulders
