Louise Gell

Physiotherapist

Louise completed a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science at the Australian Catholic University (ACU) and a Masters of Physiotherapy at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS). Throughout her studies she taught pilates to both clinical and general populations and is passionate about the benefits exercise has, not just for helping with injury rehabilitation, but for improving general health and quality of life.
Through her physiotherapy journey, Louise has also developed a keen interest in the area of Women’s Health. She has completed studies in this area through the Australian Physiotherapy Association, completing level 1 and 2 in women’s pelvic health. Exercise therapy for populations with pelvic conditions is also a key area of interest for Louise.
Growing up, she loved playing team sports and spent most of her time outdoors, this was what drove her to work in an industry with a strong focus on physical activity. A childhood spent in the country instilled a strong work ethic and a love of the outdoors. Playing hockey growing up, she had a lot of experience working with physiotherapists due to injuries she sustained. It was these experiences that drove her to choose physiotherapy as a career.
Louise is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association.
