Rebecca graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science with Distinction (Physiotherapy) in 2000. Since graduating she has worked as a physiotherapist in Australia and the United Kingdom.
In 2004 she commenced working in private practice at Sutherland Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic. During this time she has treated a vast range of musculoskeletal conditions. These range from sporting injuries to postural dysfunctions in all ages.
Rebecca developed a passion for Pilates in 2004. She recognised the significant benefits that Pilates offered her clients in private practice. She completed DMA Clinical Pilates training in 2005 and then became a certified Rehabilitation Pilates Practitioner with Polestar Pilates in 2008. In 2006 Sutherland Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic expanded to offer a fully equipped Pilates Studio. Rebecca is the Principal of the Pilates Studio. In 2013 Rebecca worked as a Pilates Physiotherapist with the South Sydney Rabbitohs NRL team.
Rebecca has developed a special interest in the assessment and treatment of Women’s Health conditions. In 2010, Rebecca completed an intensive course in Women’s Health Physiotherapy. She is continuing to develop her knowledge and skills in this area and is a member of Women’s Health Training Associates. Rebecca personally feels far more informed in this area after giving birth to her two children.
