Ky has a strong passion for the health and wellness of his patients, with a desire to assist individuals with returning to and exceeding their pre-injury level. He has experience with a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, possessing particular interest in sport and running injuries.
Prior to working at Prahran, Ky was employed at Lifecare Croydon, a leading sports medicine clinic in the eastern suburbs. He has also been employed for a number of football and soccer clubs, including Melbourne Victory’s youth academy. Before beginning his Physiotherapy career, Ky worked in health, fitness and sporting settings for over 6 years, including roles as a personal trainer, exercise scientist, Pilates instructor and sports trainer. He completed a Bachelor of Exercise Science with a focus on clinical rehabilitation prior to undertaking the Physiotherapy program at the University of Melbourne where he graduated with distinction.
Ky has a passion for continual learning, completing further study in Pilates, dry needling, running rehabilitation and sports taping. Having competed in surf lifesaving, running and football, Ky uses this experience in sporting settings to help better understand his patients and athletes.
Outside of physiotherapy, Ky enjoys sport, the outdoors, travel, and Melbourne coffee.
