Scott graduated from La Trobe University in 2005 and has worked in private practice across Melbourne and London. Since joining LifeCare Sports Medicine in 2008 Scott has focused on Sports Podiatry and has directed his further education in this area. He is an active member of the Sports Podiatry Special Interest Group and has presented to the Australian Physiotherapy Association, and various running and football clubs. Scott is the Podiatrist for the Oakleigh Chargers Football Club and also treats many players through the Eastern Football League and Amateur Football Association. He has had training in Extra Corporeal Shockwave Therapy (ESWT) and now incorporates this treatment option in his management for conditions such as chronic plantar heel pain (Plantarfasciitis), Achilles and other tendon pathologies. Scott’s interests mainly surround diagnosis and management of sports injuries, children’s foot injuries and complex foot injuries/problems. He treats football, netball, running and other sports injuries of the feet and lower legs and is able to refer for investigations such as x-ray, ultrasound and MRI. He also provides general podiatry treatments and performs nail surgery for chronic ingrown nails. Scott works as a Sports Podiatrist at LifeCare Croydon and Ashburton.
