Penelope graduated with a Masters degree from Curtin University in early 2019. She shows compassion for others and employs this in her day to day work life when it comes to connecting with and making a difference with her clients. During her years of study, Penelope took part in many different outreach programs including mentoring two undergraduate students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, two secondary rural students and two at-risk primary school children, while also being involved in various disability volunteering roles.
Penelope has also attended various professional developments over the years, enriching and growing her knowledge in her chosen profession. She has undertaken additional learning in the areas of Sensory Modulation, Trauma informed care, Dyspraxia and Palliative Care.
Outside of work, Penelope dedicates some of her time being a Citizen Advocacy volunteer to an elderly woman with an intellectual disability.
