Penelope has also attended various professional developments over the years, enriching and growing her knowledge in her chosen profession. She has undertaken additional learning in the areas of Sensory Modulation, Trauma informed care, Dyspraxia and Palliative Care.

Outside of work, Penelope dedicates some of her time being a Citizen Advocacy volunteer to an elderly woman with an intellectual disability.
