Bio
Nick is a sports and musculoskeletal physiotherapist who combines evidence based medicine in combination with the clinical art.
He has completed a post graduate Masters in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy in New Zealand and Masters in Sports Physiotherapy at La Trobe in Melbourne.
Nick uses a hands on approach in combination with exercise based medicine.
This includes shockwave therapy, dry needling, manipulation and soft tissue mobilisation. H
is interests lie in knees and ankles, especially post operative ligaments repairs.
He enjoys treating people of all ages and especially the more complex cases.
He is working closely with Jane Rooney to develop knee rehabilitation and training/rehab principles.
During the last 10 years, Nick has worked with many local and representative teams (for further information visit nickmeffin.com.au).
His sporting involvement is vast including the Auckland Aces (in First class cricket).
Assistance roles at Cricket NSW, Cricket Victoria and Melbourne Renegades in the Big Bash through out his Sports Masters.
He currently works with the Kilysth Cobras in the SEABL and Doncaster Hockey club in the Premier League.
Personal interests
Outside of work Nick enjoys all sports, going to the gym, cycling, wine tasting and travelling with his family.
