Chelsea graduated with a Bachelor in Health Sciences (Massage & Neuromuscular Therapy) in 2011 from New Zealand College of Massage, Auckland, New Zealand. Since relocating to Australia in 2018, has gained a Diploma in Remedial Massage from Melbourne Institute of Massage & Myotherapy. She is a registered member of AAMT.
Chelsea integrates her passion for massage, clinical education and wide range of soft tissue therapies including; Myofascial release, Trigger point therapy, sports massage, Neuromuscular techniques and stretching techniques into developing treatment plans to meet clients needs.
She strives to educate her patients about the influences of personal lifestyle, environment and the relationship between physical discomfort and psychological factors involved the pain response.
By combining her knowledge of postural and muscular imbalances, movement dysfunctions, and pathology she can help you rehabilitate from injury related conditions and soft tissue pathologies.
Chelsea’s special interests include regional chronic pain syndromes such as; Temporomandibular Joint dysfunction (TMD), Occupational overuse syndromes (OOs), Thoracic outlet syndrome (TOS ) and chronic low back pain.
Chelsea has spent most of her career working in a variety of multi-disciplinary settings, alongside physiotherapists, chiropractors and sports physicians. She also has experience in providing massage services to a number of sporting teams including NZ NRL warriors, Iron Man Triathlon series in New Zealand.
