Neal completed his Physiotherapy degree at Curtin University in 2020, where he was awarded the 2017 Curtin Excellence Scholarship.
Having played basketball at a state level, Neal has a keen interest in the prevention and management of sporting injuries. He is dedicated to help patients through their rehabilitation by adopting a multi-modal approach including joint mobilisation, soft-tissue massage, dry needling and exercise prescription when treating musculoskeletal conditions.
Neal has also held positions as a sports trainer for the Noranda Hawks Football club, and as head sports trainer for the Curtin soccer club including the management of the Men’s State League and Women’s National Premiere League teams.
In 2020, Neal worked at the Bentley Health Service’s Outpatient Musculoskeletal department, where he treated a variety of conditions including neck, back, hip, knee and shoulder pain. Neal is a methodical clinician who does not simply treat the symptoms of a condition but who strives to address the root cause of the problem.
