Craig Elliott is the Practice Principal at Lifecare Wembley. He is the current Tennis Australia Physiotherapist in WA, is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA) Independent Clinical Review Panel and sits on the APA WA Branch Council. He completed his Masters in Manipulative Physiotherapy in 1999 and has taught at both the University of WA and Curtin at a postgraduate level.
Craig has a special interest in the cognitive and functional aspects of management for spinal disorders. He believes that education and patient awareness is paramount in the management of their condition and is a skilled communicator. He also has clinical expertise in the diagnosis of headaches and shoulder rehabilitation.
Craig is experienced in the rehabilitation of injured workers and has assisted in developing Functional Capacity Assessments for the mining and affiliated industries. He has spent time at a number of mining sites and is well aware of the typical demands of this workforce.
As a part of the local medical community, he has developed strong relationships with the local GP’s, orthopaedic and allied health providers.
Craig has a young family and enjoys the junior coaching at the Subiaco Junior Football Club. He an avid supporter of the Fremantle Football Club, loves to chat about food, wine and just about anything else – actually its hard sometimes to find a topic that he does not have an opinion on!
