Jen is our Women’s Health Physiotherapist and one of our Clinical Exercise Physiotherapists.
She completed her Clinical Exercise (formerly known as Pilates) training many years ago
through LifeCare and is now the co-ordinator of the intensive instructor training program,
which is offered to our Physiotherapists.
She has completed post graduate study in Women’s Health Physiotherapy at Curtin
University and is currently completing a Professional Certificate in Conservative
Management of Pelvic Organ Prolapse through the University of South Australia, which,
alongside current evidence based practice, involves the use of vaginal support pessaries in
the management of prolapse.
In our clinic, Jen sees women who are experiencing pelvic floor and bladder and bowel
dysfunction as well as those suffering from pelvic pain and sexual dysfunction. She also
finds working with pregnant and postnatal women particularly rewarding, and combined
with her Clinical Exercise knowledge, is well qualified to advise women on appropriate
exercise in the childbearing years
