How can hip and groin physiotherapy help?

Hip and groin pain can be difficult to diagnose and manage. Our hip and groin physios perform an initial evaluation that includes an assessment of your movement, range of motion and muscle strength. The goal is to determine the underlying structural cause of your hip and groin pain and then focus treatment in this area.

What does treatment involve?

Treatment involves manual physiotherapy along with education about your specific hip and groin problem, therapeutic exercises, and advice on how to return to your favourite activities without pain. Physiotherapy can help diminish the frequency, intensity and duration of hip pain and groin pain and has been proven effective in the treatment of many common hip conditions including, femoroacetabular impingement (FAI), labral tears, hip dysplasia and hip osteoarthritis.
