She went on to work with Southcare and Lifecare Willetton in the area of women’s health and continence, in addition to clinical tutoring for physiotherapy students at both Curtin and Notre Dame Universities.

To upkeep her physiotherapy skills, Michelle has attended several advanced courses within the pelvic health field, including pelvic organ prolapse management and pessary fitting.

Michelle has a keen clinical interest in all facets of Women’s Men’s and Pelvic Health including bladder and bowel incontinence, pelvic floor weakness, pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic pain, sexual pain and dysfunction, pregnancy and postnatal health, as well as pre and post gynaecological and prostate surgery care. She is passionate about working with women to return to exercise, balancing pelvic floor dysfunction with sport and fitness for all abilities.

Outside of work, Michelle has 3 children (two boys and a girl) to whom she devotes her weekends, watching football and rugby league. Michelle loves venturing to remote parts of Australia, seeing if anywhere can match the beauty of the Esperance beaches where she grew up (none thus far). She enjoys a good book and keeping active.
